I do not have patterns and I will not be making patterns, thanks.

it's also a good idea to make the legs of the bottom (belly) piece longer than they are in the side pieces.

So, the bottom piece, how do you measure that? Do you use the length of the sides and the middle? or just the sides

cut out a side piece in paper, mark where the bottom piece ends on chin and butt, trace around legs and belly from point to point, flip over the piece so it's mirrored and lay the previously marked points on the points where your trace line starts and trace it the same way you traced before, only mirrored. that way you should be able to create a fitting and symmetrical belly-piece.

Hope it's understandable and helpfull :P

for the bottom piece I try to make it as long as the top piece, if not a bit longer. this tutorial is a bit outdated though, now I don't include the legs on the bottom piece since measuring them is difficult.
